BRELAND is set to host the second annual “BRELAND & Friends” concert to benefit the Oasis Center on April 4 at Ryman Auditorium.
Benefiting metro Nashville area at-risk youth, the concert event will feature special guests Alana Springsteen, Ashley Cooke, Avery Anna, Danielle Bradbery, Gary LeVox, Ingrid Andress, K. Michelle, Nate Smith, Temecula Road, Tenille Townes, X Ambassadors, and more.
Last year’s sold-out event raised 140,000 dollars for the cause, and the singer/songwriter is thrilled to bring it back for a second year.
“I can’t believe we get to do BRELAND & Friends at @theryman AGAIN this year benefiting the @oasiscenternashville,” he shared on social media. “Last year was such an incredible success with a lot of incredible people involved, but this year’s gonna be crazier than ever! I’m bringing some of my closest friends out with me to help support a great cause and hope to see you there. And who knows.. maybe we’ll see a few more show up too.”
This year, BRELAND hopes to increase awareness and donations for the Oasis Center. The Oasis Center serves as one of Middle Tennessee’s most comprehensive youth development agencies with over 20 services and programs to cater to the area’s diverse needs. These programs include helping young people with counseling, housing, improving college access, LGBTQ+ support systems and so much more. The Oasis Center aims to be at the forefront of helping young people and their families navigate the complex challenges of today. BRELAND and the Oasis center share the passion for bringing people together and uniting for a common purpose.
Following the announcement of BRELAND & Friends, the New Jersey native announced a new version of his fan-favorite track, “For What It’s Worth,” featuring rising star Alana Springsteen.
The just-released rendition features a new verse co-written by Springsteen and GRAMMY-winning songwriter Liz Rose.
“When I first put out ‘For What It’s Worth,’ the overwhelming response came from women who wished their exes would own up to their mistakes in this way,” BRELAND shared in a statement. “I immediately knew a woman’s perspective would take the song to another level. Alana Springsteen is a newer face in Country music, but one that I believe people will be seeing for a long time. She sings some of my favorite breakup songs, and it felt like a natural fit to bring her in on ‘For What It’s Worth.’ Unsurprisingly, she delivered an amazing verse and added the flavor that was needed. Hopefully, people appreciate our take on the song the way I do.”
