Over the course of three decades, Allan and Lawrence have produced some of Country’s greatest era-defining hits like “Songs About Rain,” “Life Ain’t Always Beautiful,” “Stars Over Texas,” “Better Man, Better Off,” and more.
Now, they are bringing these signature tracks to the stage to bring a new life to their catalogs for both the fans that have been there since day one and the new generation that is just grasping onto their talent.
“I’m really looking forward to doing these shows with Gary Allan,” Lawrence shared in a press release. “We’ve been talking every day and we’re really excited to hit the road together. What he brings to the table is unmatched and is going to elevate an already great night of music.”
“Tracy Lawrence is one of the iconic artists of the 90s Country sound,” Allan added of his co-headlining partner. “It’s going to be fun to hit the road with him and hear those great songs every night.”
Lawrence’s impressive resume includes more than 13M albums sold and 18 No. 1 singles on the radio charts. The “Paint Me A Birmingham” singer recently unveiled the final installment of his three-part album series titled, Hindsight 2020. This collection featured both new songs and re-recordings of some of his biggest hits.
In March, he will be honored for his years of dedication to service and philanthropy through his charity, Mission: Possible, with the 2023 Country Radio Seminar (CRS) Artist Humanitarian Award. The award will be presented at the New Faces of Country Music Show on Wednesday, March 15, during CRS 2023. Lawrence will accept the honor alongside Brent Michaels, who will be receiving the 2023 Tom Rivers Humanitarian Award.
“I am overwhelmed with gratitude for being honored by the Country Radio Broadcasters,” shared Lawrence. “The success of Mission: Possible, each year surpassing our previous donation records, is nothing short of a blessing. Giving back has always been a calling for me and to be acknowledged for that by such a long-standing and respected organization is truly an honor.”
When he’s not accepting accolades, writing new hits or enjoying life on the road, Lawrence continues as the voice behind his award-nominated radio show “Honky Tonkin’ With Tracy Lawrence.” Plus, he recently launched a new podcast right from his tour bus called “TL’s Road House.” So far, his new project has already featured several country music superstars as guests, including HARDY, Jason Aldean, Jelly Roll and Allen.
While appearing on Lawrence’s radio show, Allan showed support of his charity, with a performance at 2022’s 17th annual Turkey Fry. This event raised more than $250,000 to help combat homelessness.
Allan is also still relishing on the success of his most recent album, Ruthless, which marked his first new album since the release of Set You Free in 2013.
The “Right Where I Need To Be” singer’s 10th studio album earned praise from critics and marked his eighth straight Top 10 Country album.
Following the unveiling of this project, Allen hit the road for his solo tour of the same name. This trek was in celebration of his 25-year career and more than 8 million album sales as well as nearly 3 billion streams across all platforms.
Their coheadlining tour will kick off on May 18, 2023 in Lincoln, NE at Pinewood Bowl Theater and continue with stops in Missouri, Minnesota, Iowa, Indiana, and Kentucky before wrapping up in Southaven, MS at BankPlus Amphitheater.
Tickets will be available for presale on Thursday, Feb. 16 with public on sale Feb. 17 at 10 a.m. local venue time on www.garyallan.com
