Luke Combs and his wife, Nicole, have just a few more months before they officially become parents to two kids under the age of two. In between preparations for welcoming their next child and the country superstar’s world tour, the couple was able to enjoy a date night at the 58th ACM Awards on Thursday (May 11).
The glowing mom turned heads in her dazzling, rhinestone Oscar de la Renta dress with a gorgeous set of Elizabeth Cole jewelry that included standout earrings and a bracelet. As the dress faded into an elegant fringe, her Christian Louboutin heels took over the focus with the matching rhinestone detail. Combs also dressed to impress as he donned a custom blue Eric Adler blazer & black button-up shirt, which was paired with Joe’s Jeans and custom M.L. Eddy’s boots that featured a hint of glamour. The couple was styled by the talented Katy Robbins.

Combs took to social media to share a few photos captured throughout the memorable night along with a caption that read, “Had a hell of a date night with @nicolejcombslast night!”
While walking the red carpet, Nicole was seen smiling from ear to ear as she debuted her baby bump alongside Combs, who spoke to Entertainment Tonight about the excitement and stress that comes along with welcoming another member into their family. This can be an especially difficult task when they already have a 10-month-old son, Tex Lawrence, to keep up with at home.
“Two under two is gonna be interesting,” Combs told the outlet. “We got it though. I’m excited.”

“And the one day it’ll be two of ’em, right?” He joked. “It’s not much time to worry about anything when you got a 10-month-old at home.”
During this year’s ACM Awards show, Combs showcased his talent by performing his new single, “Love You Anyway,” which finds him once again confessing his love to his wife. Shortly after, he returned to the stage as he joined Ed Sheeran in singing the popstar’s powerful ballad, “Life Goes On.”
Prior to getting dressed up for the star-studded night, the “Beautiful Crazy” singer also caught up with PEOPLE to discuss the current state of their baby preparations.
“We’re getting ready,” Combs shared. “We’re just in it. We’re in the trenches, taping grenades. [We’re] excited for the second one. They’re gonna be close [in age], but I feel like we’ll be in practice.”
On Monday (Mar. 20), Combs and Nicole surprised fans with the news that they are expecting a second baby boy. Taking to Instagram, they shared a series of heartwarming family photos that featured their firstborn son wearing a “big brother” onesie.
“Joining the 2 under 2 club! Baby boy #2 coming this September!!” Combs wrote in the caption. The post was also soundtracked by a new song titled, “Take You With Me,” off his latest Getting’ Old album, which arrived Friday, March 24.
Combs and Nicole welcomed Tex Lawrence on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 19, 2022. The news of his arrival was shared via social media through another set of sweet family photos.
“Welp he decided that Fathers Day would be a good time to show up. I couldn’t agree more. Me and @nicolejcombs are over the moon in love with this little guy,” he wrote at the time. “Mama and baby are healthy and we’re back home now with family. Life is good. Everyone welcome Tex Lawrence Combs to the world!”
Nicole also revealed the news to her own followers using the same family photo. She wrote, “It’s going to be hard to top this past Father’s Day,” she shared. “Welcome to the world, Tex Lawrence Combs. You are the best chillest angel boy and I’m so happy I was chosen to be your mom. These are the days 🤍”
