From February 20-22, Nashville venue Marathon Music Works hosted a three-night “preview experience” of the country superstar’s highly anticipated new album, One Thing at a Time. A select number of lucky fans snagged tickets to attend one of the three audio and visual sessions that allowed them to listen to the new 36-track project in advance of its release on March 3.
As they gathered to take in the unreleased tunes, one fan in particular was captured dancing around to the beat that flowed through her headphones. Her energetic moves caught the attention of Wallen who posted the video to his TikTok in hopes of finding the superfan.
The “You Proof” singer shared the professionally filmed clips with a caption that read, “fav fan ever. y’all help me find this lady.”
Fans Tracked Her Down Quickly
With a bit of help from TikTok’s powerful algorithm, the fan was eventually found. One user claimed the top comment as she wrote, “THAT’S MY MOM 😂😂😭😂” and tagged her mother’s TikTok account.

“Hello, Morgan. Morgan Wallen, I just wanna tell you, you are the best that county gets,” the 70-year-old fan dubbed Granny Gina said in a video dated October 27, 2022 with a deep southern accent that elevated her pride for the country star. “You have made it big and I love you. I think you’re one of the best superstars I’ve ever seen. I follow all of your songs.”
Gina’s niece also chimed in on the recent viral success as she took to Instagram to repost the video and also share some heartfelt words to express just how strongly her aunt feels about the Tennessee native.
“Couldn’t have picked a better fan. U can’t talk to her without hearing the word Morgan Wallen lol. Yes I bought tickets and she begged me to take her so I said come on and I was glad I took (her) cause she had the best time. She’s already got the dates for the album drop and believe me she will be burning the roads up to make sure she gets her copy.”
The unreleased song that was paired with the video shared by Wallen is titled, “Thinkin’ Bout Me,” and serves as the 25th track on his third studio album.
Co-written by John Byron, Ashley Gorley, Taylor Phillips, Ryan Vojtesak, the upbeat new tune finds Wallen wondering if his former love interest still thinks about him as she moves on with someone new.
“Baby don’t you lie / When you’re tastin’ what he’s drinkin’ are you thinkin’ bout me? / When you’re ridin’ where he’s drivin’ are you missin’ my street? / Every time you close your eyes tell me who do you see? / When you’re tastin’ what he’s drinkin’ are you thinkin’ bout me,” he sings in the chorus.
